House Gadang

House Gadang or House Godang is the name for a traditional house of Minangkabau traditional house and lot in encounter in West Sumatra province, Indonesia. The house is also known by other names by the local people with the name Bagonjong house or there is also a mention by name Baanjung house.

Houses with this model are also often found in Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia. However, not all regions of the Minangkabau (darek) that should set custom homes, only in areas that already have the status of Tower House these villages should be established. So also in the area called the shoreline, this traditional house is no established previously by the nomads Minangkabau.
